home for the holidays - 2001

A collection of all the photos posted in my journal for december

camera experimentation

peanuts' christmas

xmas lights with fireplace
glowing light

switched the camera to black and white mode
shot from floor. black and white always produces the best contrast between light and dark capturing more ambient lighting when compared to the above color photo.

in the fire
the shutter speed is too slow to capture the suspended flames. this is the cleanest one i shot

glowing colors
nice glowing effect the lights project onto the wall

warped spinning straight from the camera
i rotated the camera as i took this shot

more aggressive spin
taken while i rocked the camera from left to right
