SCIENTISTS MYSTIFIED BY 4000 YEAR OLD ARTIFACTS
Lunar scientists report that they can not account for the recent discovery of 4,000 year old human artifacts found in several locations on our world. "These artifacts appear anomalous in many ways." reports the Minister of Science. "To start with, they are dated to a period 3000 years before the first known human habitation on Luna. The tiny chemical rockets found in the wreckage were incapable of transporting this material from Earth." The Minister went on to say that before the invention of the gravitate drive in the 50th century humans did not have the capability to travel to Luna. "The primitive chemical rocket motors from the 20th century, from thence these artifacts date, were mostly used to lop early fusion weapons from one barbaric nation-state to another. They were a major factor in the Great Collapse of 2002 but there is no way that any of those early nation-states could have built a rocket big enough to have traveled to Luna. The economic expenditure for a rocket that large would bankrupt the modern United Solar Alliance much less any of those ancient 20th century nation-states." The Minister of Science discounted the ancient tale of an engineer named Verne who traveled from Earth to Luna in a giant cannon. The Minister concluded "The only way to account for the presence of these artifacts on Luna is that someone from outside the Solar system who already had the gravitate drive must have transported the material here for some unknown reason. After all, we all know that the gravitate drive is the only practicable means of space travel. We finally have prove of an Extra-Solar Intelligence."
